Do you have a young person who is destined for the stage, lacking confidence or looking to make new friends?
East Ayrshire Youth Theatre offers this and more through our dynamic musical theatre classes which run weekly at the Grand Hall in Kilmarnock. Suitable for age 8 to 18 years, the sessions are packed full of creativity, positivity and fun.
EAYT offers young people the opportunity to thrive in a safe, professional theatre environment filled with positive experiences. This supportive environment gives them the chance to hone their skills as young actors and theatre makers.
The ethos of EAYT is that of a professional theatre company which is driven by excellence and access where young people feel comfortable and learn through positive experiences.
Our bi-annual shows allow us to showcase the talent and excellence of EAYT’s learning through our professional workshop programme.

Classes
Classes are led by working professionals from the performing arts industry. We work closely with specialists in music, dance and drama to bring the best possible opportunities to the EAYT participants. The EAYT team continue to cater for the needs of each individual participant, building their skills and confidence and ensuring that while we maintain a professional ethos, classes are fun, accessible and develop life transferrable skills.
